As the small family business we are, we have no heavy investors behind us.
We do not have large costs – we are dealing with small expenses and small profits. We are like a “nice little guerrilla movement” moving among the big dragons who are running with power and money in the market.
For us, it is important to spread good karma.
Firstly, we care about nature – then about the people and finally about the products. If the products favor nature and mankind in the most optimal way – then we think it is okay to produce and ultimately sell.

Use & Care
How to take care of your OOO Yoga Mat
First of all, we do not recommend over cleaning of your mat. Even though the organic and planet-friendly material of your OOO yogamat are durable for your practice, over cleaning can wear out the material faster.
How to clean it: Blend water with a very small amount of real natural soap, just a tiny drop. Then wipe the mat with a damp sponge or cotton towel, make sure it is not soaking wet, just enough to wipe it off.
We do not recommend to use paper, mat cleaning spray or essential oils.
Let it dry fully before roll it up. We also recommend you to let your mat dry after practice before roll it up.
Avoid too much sunlight. We love the sun, the feeling of the warm sunbeam on the skin. At the same time, we have to make sure not be over exposed to it and risk burning the skin. It is the same with your OOO yoga mat. The natural and biodegradable material of your OOO yogamat is sensitive for long periods in the sunlight. It is totally fine to practice outside in the sun, but do not leave it for a whole day.
Stains. Over time, the mat might get some stains, this is because the organic material of your mat is absorbant. We recommend to avoid creams and bodyoil. The marks fade over time, or can be help by cleaning. But do not be afraid of spots or stains, they make your mat unique and shows that you spend time on your mat, make time for yourself and your yogapractice.
THE STORY - OOO Yoga Mat
Many years ago, I saw how my wife bought yoga mats for her yoga business. My thought was immediate – But you can’t do that! You can’t buy yoga mats for SEK 500 and sell them for SEK 500. But for my wife, the choice was simple. That her yogis should yoga on bad yoga mats was not a choice. Therefore, she bought better yoga mats and brought them to her yogis. Everyone was happy without me. My experience from sales and purchasing told me that you have to be able to buy in at better prices and at least get paid for the job you put into procuring good yoga mats.
So I asked other yoga teachers – and they did just like my wife. This is where I decided to “help you who helps others”. So I negotiated prices on the most frequent yoga mats and bought pallets from them, just to unpack them and repack to various yoga studios in Sweden. Now the yoga teachers could buy mixed brands, sizes, colors without quantity requirements and at the best possible prices.
The problem was that I had my day job. Therefore, I opened an online shop that would facilitate ordering during the day. The site became good and private individuals also started shopping on the site. OurYogaShop had seen the light of day! OurYogaShop – Yours and My yoga shop. The year was 2009.
Everything has rolled on – I mostly haven’t thought so much, just continued to “help you who helps others”. But it has not been a straight road. Managing a webshop requires more than you can imagine at first glance and the margins are tiny. The shop has demanded endless evenings and weekends. But somewhere it has been worth it and now we are taking a giant step in our development to offer you the best products at the best prices – OOO yoga products
OOO is a Swedish brand from a family owned company. We have been in the business since 2009. We are passionate about yoga and conduct yoga training, classes and workshops. We have been looking all over the globe for high quality yoga products. We have purchased yoga products from small and large suppliers. Oils and chemicals could affect your mat, we highly recommend avoiding the use of any essential oils, body lotions or moisturiser. As the OOO Yoga Mats have an open cell structure on the top surface, it can absorb these oils which could then leave a stain.

Once dry, turn your OOO Yoga Mat and let the top ( the coloured side) face the floor. Then roll it up. with the coloured side on the outside.

Yes there is! A little bit of extra room can make a big difference!
Therefore we created the lOOOng Yoga Mat for all you that need some extra length while practicing yoga.
We know that many Yogis love using OOO Yoga Mat for their heated practice as the extra grippy top surface aids their practice during an intense and sweaty session! However, we do like to just generally caution that our OOO Yoga Mat are not specifically designed to be used for hot Yoga. OOO Yoga Mat have an open cell structure on the top surface, meaning moisture is absorbed quickly and can evaporate easily, keeping your mat super grippy and your practice safe and steady, even during an extra sweaty practice.
OOO Yoga Mat are also made to be biodegradable, so regular heated yoga practices, or living in a hot and humid climate, could speed up the degradation of the OOO Yoga Mat and reduce their lifespan. We still believe your mat will last you a good amount of time even if you practice hot yoga, at least relative to most other mats made from biodegradable materials. We believe it’s super important to use non-toxic biodegradable materials in order to minimise any negative impact on the environment. And as a bonus, most people have no need to use a towel on top of a OOO Yoga Mat- so you’ll also save energy and water, and avoid detergent and microfiber pollution by not having to wash a sweaty towel after each practice!
The lifespan of the OOO Yoga Mats can depend on several factors such as how often your mat is used, how intense your practice is, how you care for your mat and so on. We’re confident all OOO Yoga Mats will last a good amount of time, and provide great value for our customers!
We have made a conscious decision to produce mats using biodegradable materials and sustainable manufacturing processes, and we focus very much on ‘quality’ over ‘quantity’ of use. We believe that the best mat for a truly Yogic practice is also one that minimises our impact on the environment and our mat, being completely biodegradable, does that. Many other mats do not and will have an ongoing environmental impact long after they have stopped being used.
We know that sustained practice can wear a mat out, in the same way that a pair of running shoes will become worn out, and eventually this will reduce the effectiveness of your mat on your practice. Hence it is not practicable for us to offer a lifetime guarantee or a warranty, but firmly believe we’ve got the best balance of eco-friendliness and durability.
The OOO Yoga Mat are made of a high quality natural rubber base. All materials are biodegradable and sustainably produced. We want to support the planet and all humans in a sustainible way, that is why we love to work with eco-friendly and non-toxic materials.
The materials are completely non-toxic and when disposed of at the end of their useful life-cycle, OOO Yoga Mat will break down in landfill conditions with an estimated time to near-complete degradation of 1-5 years.
The bottom layer of our mats is made from natural rubber, and natural rubber does contain latex. However, our top surface does not contain latex. We therefore urge caution to any Yogi who suffers from a latex allergy when using the OOO Yoga Mat, and recommend you check with a medical practitioner as to the extent of your allergy and as to whether using a mat with even a rubber base layer could be an issue for you.
